The Indian Council of Medical Research is ready to launch a dedicated task force to translate nano-enabled technologies into clinical application by applying knowledge of researchers across the country.

It involves collaboration among scientists, engineers and physicians to develop successful nanotechnology application in the diverse fields such as drug delivery, non-communicable disease management etc.

The apex body for biomedical research promotion has already started accepting research proposal from scientist and clinicians. The task force would focus on exploratory research on specific needs for clinical application, preclinical, clinical trials and nano-enabled emerging technologies such as photo-dynamic therapy and nano robotics.
