
In an effort to boost Indian traditional medicines abroad, the central government has set up academic chairs, patenting medicines and focussing on Good Manufacturing Practices.
For boosting research and academics activities agreements have been signed with countries such as China, Hungary and Germany as confirmed by union minister of Ayush Shripad Yesso Naik after flagging off the first-ever ‘Run for Ayurveda’ event in New Delhi a couple of weeks ago.
